On the 1st of June 2024, Romanian Youth Rise partnered with the German Cultural Center Sibiu (Deutsches Kulturzentrum Hermannstadt) to celebrate Children’s Day with a series of fun and educational workshops for children aged 4 to 10.

Hosted at the Cultural Center’s premises, the event brought together young curious minds for an afternoon of creativity, movement, and discovery. Facilitated by specialized coordinators, children had the chance to explore face painting, sports activities, interactive reading in German, bracelet making, and plaster figurine painting.

More than just entertainment, each activity was designed with purpose — to spark imagination, encourage physical expression, introduce language skills in a playful setting, and nurture fine motor creativity through art.

A joyful afternoon that reminded us why investing in children is always the most meaningful thing we can do.
