Meet our Team

Somewhere in the heart of Transylvania, in a city where medieval towers meet cobblestone streets, a group of young people decided that the world was too big to be seen only from home.

🇷🇴 That place is Sibiu. And that decision became in 2023 Romanian Youth Rise.

We are a youth organization built on the belief that travel transforms, that meeting people different from you changes how you see yourself, and that young people from Romania deserve every opportunity that Europe has to offer.

Here is how we make it happen:

🇪🇺 Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges — we send young Romanians abroad and welcome international participants to Romania, creating spaces for intercultural learning and personal growth.

🫶 Local Community Projects — from charity drives for children in need across Sibiu County to cultural gatherings in the Carpathians, we stay rooted in the community that shaped us.

📈 Non-formal Education — workshops, volunteering initiatives, and events designed to build skills that no classroom can teach.

We are educators, volunteers, dreamers, and doers — and we are just getting started.
