Christmas Market & Winter Workshops — Gușterița, December 2025

In the weekend of 13–14 December 2025, Romanian Youth Rise joined forces with Șura Culturală Gușterița to bring to life a charitable Christmas market rooted in local tradition and community spirit.

Nestled in the heart of Gușterița, the event celebrated everything that makes Transylvanian winter magical — local craftsmen displaying handmade ceramics, crocheted decorations, and natural fir wreaths, alongside homemade sweets and culinary treasures from the community’s own pantry.

But the market was more than a place to shop. Families gathered around winter workshops where children crafted their own Christmas ornaments and fir wreaths to take home. Carol recitals filled the air, poetry clubs brought words to life, and hot chocolate and homemade sweets kept everyone warm.

All proceeds from the workshops were redirected to our ongoing charity project, A Christmas for Everyone — supporting children from disadvantaged families across Sibiu County.

A weekend of warmth, creativity, and giving — exactly the way Christmas should feel.
